wtf? you just said prior that because boston was having a drill today for an explosion, an explosion occurred. that would imply an inside job. is that what you're saying?

sad, scary stuff, but you have to relived the damage in # of lives isn't higher.

I'm in the area and actually took some photo's of the leaders (men) about 7 miles from the site of the blasts (at around 11:30AM). The blasts occurred just before 3PM. Several years ago the race always started at noon and the (male) winner would be in the area of the finish line at around 2:10PM. At around 3PM that area would still be packed with spectators. The men now start at 10AM (women and wheelchair 1/2 hour to an hour earlier). The runners that were finishing at that time were running 5 hour marathon's and a large segment of spectator's had already left. A 1PM blast would've most likely resulted in many more casualties.
