Well, we don't have to play anyone in their home arena, so I'm OK with that stat

Although we did beat Marquette in Marquette this year, so that streak has been broken

I'm somewhat happy AZ went down. They would have been very much at home in Phoenix next week. College home crowds are huge

Illinois had no business being in that game. They had a gilded path with two overmatched mid majors (Morehead and Duquesne) in the first two rounds, then an overseed (Iowa State) on Thursday.

For all its talent, this team could lose to five random mopes at the Y any given night. I’m happy to see the current core players moving on.
