Here are the first steps GTC:

- denounce science and logic

- become judgmental of others with different religious beliefs and values

- lose the ability to be think independently

- become racist and homophobic

The above almost certainly guarantee some time in the pulpit of many Christian churches.

My advice is to seek out those congregations who don't embrace such values

Judge, meaning make intelligent rational observations. When the
Bible says judge not lest you be judged, it's talking about judging
someone's eternal destiny. That is not our place to do, but God's.

Wow.

Certainly an excellent thumbnail example of how different sects of Christianity interpet a scripture. I'm among those Christians who have learned that passing judgement on people for any reason is almost always counterproductive and thus a poor use of our spiritual energy.

zit, been doing some research and put it to work yesterday in this thread. Saracen was upset at his losses and was going to play blackjack and lose even more money. I told him to quit if he couldn't control himself, since anger is not part of gods deeds.

Also told him I'll pray for him. notice all the insults he made towards me, yet I didn't let those remarks get to me and in the end wished him well and said i would pray for him.

Until I can be convinced that Christ was himself a heterosexual, I think it's best to let everyone into the Big Tent
