I have Atlanta Over as a play tonight, but I am backing off as I see that Tater has the Under as his best play and I have a ton of respect for his plays.


So just one play tonight:

Jumped on this on the overnight Zap...I'm surprised it hasn't moved up.

Still reeling from last Wednesday. 12/3 will forever live in Zapsterinfamy.....but since then I am 4-2 and plus 16.8 Units....and as a result of realizing the need to adjust, I am now taking injuries and other changes (ie Orlando's new run & gun philosophy) into account. I used to let these things "even out in the long run."

All of that being said, Boston OVER tonight looks like the gift of the year. I see both teams scoring 100+. Am I missing something here ?? Who knows.....but I show this game as being in the 210 range and my numbers would hafta be WAY off to not cover a 181 over....so I am going the 20 unit max on this one. I haven't consulted with the "Tater Oracle" and will be very curious to see if he agrees when he comes down from the mountaintop (where he is consulting with the totals gods)....but I would be shocked if it didn't go up at least a few points, so I am jumping on that one now. I know this flies in the face of not putting too much weight on any one game, but I just can't see this one going under 190....let alone 181....so I'm taking my shot with this one.

Just when I thought there were no huge plays tonight I stumbled upon the Philly-Detroit game. This game calculates as a huge under....and I gotta believe Iverson being out only makes it moreso. This is a 20 Unit play. Also my "post Black Wednesday" additional tweaking has turned the Toronto game (which would have been a small under based on original considerations) into a small over.

Toronto OVER 187.5 (4 Units)
Philly UNDER 170.5 (20 Units)

Plus the 4 plays from the last post. Should be an interesting evening !!

GREAT night last night....6-1 and plus 47 Units !!!

YTD now 40-32 and plus 34.3 Units.

Since "Black Wednesday" I am 12-4 and plus 76.8 Units.

This brings two old sayings to mind.

1) "It's always darkest before the dawn." (-unknown)
2) "When life looks like easy street there is danger at your door." (-Robert Hunter)

So what I mean is that while it is easy to get caught up in streaks, it's best not to get too crazed when losing badly.....and not to get too cocky when you're rolling.

Ok...enough of that....I can hear everyone saying "quit the philsophical bs zapster and start listing the picks."

Nice call on Clips under...I'm glad you all agree tonight...I am on all three plus Washington under. Both Wizard leading scorers out and the team is trending way down. Any thoughts on Memphis...Tate does not like the game.

Oto....

I have the Memphis game as too close to call. Same with the Washington game...but I will most likely throw a few "unofficial" units on the under based on what I have read in this forum. My number comes to 193.5 on that one, which is on the under side of the line, but not nearly enough to call a play in and of itself.
