10-13-2 Minus 21.6 Units
NOT happy about how it has been going.....the Bulls utter lack of defense has cost me 2 sizable under plays in the past few days. I made an adjustment to my formula stressing more heavily on recent performances and as a result the Bulls are a big fat Over play tonight, whereas my original formula made them a small Under.
I am very curious to see how it goes for the next few days. Here are my plays for tonight:
Knicks OVER 173 (5 Units) (calc = 181.5)
Chicago OVER 183.5 (15 Units) (calc = 202)
Houston UNDER 174.5 (4 Units) (calc = 168.5)
Wash OVER 194 (5 Units) (calc = 202)

Nothing like a 4-0 to brighten Thanksgiving spirits. 2 Games tonight:
Knicks UNDER 173 (7 Units) (calc = 152)
Nets UNDER 188 (4 Units) (calc = 180.5)
Knics would normally be a huge play, but between the fact that it is Thanksgiving and I want to focus on family rather than have a huge play, the fact that Tate and a few others here like over....and the fact that yesterday put me back in the plus column and I want to relax for a moment....it all adds up to a conservative play on Under. That being said, this game calcs WAY under....and Olympic is writing it 1/2 point higher than my other outs, at 173.

Well....tonight is going to be "interesting" to say the LEAST !! Eight games.....four of which calculate to be big plays, but Taterphobia calls for caution on two of those. He and I do have two plays we agree on...Minnesota OVER and Cleveland UNDER, which both calculate to a small plays, but I for one will be wagering extra on those. The numbers I give here are my raw calculated numbers. Proceed with caution on Philly & NJ as Tater is going the opposite way on both of those.
Just one more note: I am 5-1 since "tweaking" my system two days ago.

So much for 15 Units plays being "rare." I saw very few of them last season....Lakers OVER is first 20 Unit play of the season. I have been showing the calcs lately. Needless to say the bigger the difference between the best number I can find and my calc, the bigger the play. The exact number of units appropriate to play each game based on those differnces is still a bit of a work in progress. In that respect I'm glad Scorekeeper is making each play one unit. It will be a good barometer of how well the "weighted play" system is working.

Lakers - San Antonio went OVER last night, but not for any of the reasons I outlined in Tate's thread. Oh well. I can accept getting lucky. 5-3 last night +34.8 Units....definately heartwarming as the big plays went 3-1 and the two plays Tate and I had in common were 2-0.
But today is a new day......
More madness as I have plays on 7 of the 8 games for which there are lines so far here they are:

As a Laker season seat holder, it is VERY hard to not root for "showtime" but the numbers fall where they will and this one projects to be in the mid 170's, so for tonight, the chant is DEE-FENSE.

Easy winner last night with Indy Under.....another Tater/Zap combo pick. Not sure who Tater likes Monday, but I have 2 plays so far:
Detroit UNDER (4 Units) (calc = 171.5)
San Antonio OVER 189.5 (15 Units) (calc = 205.2)
Glad to see people are making money off these. I may have more plays tomorrow....2 games are still off the board as of now. Also, I find that the line moves toward my number about 90% of the time, so I am doing my best to get these numbers worked out the night before the game. Olympic, Pinnacle & Royal all have lines posted the night before.

1-1 last night, but 15 unit loss was brutal.
The numbers have Toronto UNDER as the play of the year so far. I'm going to list it at 15 Units because of the uncertainty regarding the effects of the Jalen Rose-Antonio Davis trade on Toronto's game pace, but this would otherwise be my first 25 Unit play in 2 years. I also threw a few units on New Orleans Under after talking to Tater. He seems to really like that one. I calc that one at 177.5....slightly under the line but not enough to play were it not for Tateritis.....which has put some Units in my coffers since I started following his plays.
