Nothing to say after an 0-3 Sunday. Just came here to update the stats. Not sure what it's going to take to turn this around, but I hope I find out soon !!
Your site looks great and you know as well as I that a not so great month will for sure turn around. It is not possible to win every day, every week or every month.
I have been as much impressed by the way you [and Tate] have conducted yourselves on this forum as I have by your capping. And I appreciate your contribution.
Most of us who visit this forum, I feel share my sentiments exactly.
And BTW, you have done a great job coming back in the third round of our Royal contest matchup. At one point I thought I had it locked up especially after your forfeit. This indeed was the matchup I dreaded. You did leave me a bit of an opening with the team total tonight. So if I lose tonight [which I don't expect to do], I will deserve to lose. Should that happen, good luck to you the rest of the way.
Thanks much Mr. Jones....your words are very much appreciated.
Oddly enough the game that will decide our match is the only one that I have as "too close to call" tonight.
Brutal January continued through the weekend. Month to date record is 31-46. Only saving grace is that I have gone 19-11 on the bigger (15 and 20 Unit) plays during that stretch. Still....I don't want to advise fading my smaller plays in spite of the recent numbers. I do calc to win....not to fade....and I still believe that the long run will bear out my theories on totals calculation.
Here are tonight's playzz.....>>
Portland OVER 185 (5 Units)
Orlando OVER 195 (15 Units)
Houston UNDER 163 (10 Units)
San AntonioOVER 180.5 (4 Units)
Utah OVER 186 (7 Units)
Maybe the BoDog contest resetting the monthly to zero and starting over tonight will break the curse. Or maybe I need Singuru to get in here and break it again with magic words like he did (successfully actually) in December. Hey...I'm not above grasping at straws....whatever it takes !!!
I read in something written by Teamrichie that some cappers give out "biggies" to bail themelves out when things are going badly. Please know I will not be doing that....tempting as it may be. So if something shows as a large play it is only because that is how it calculates.
Enough babble.....let's hope tonight is the beginning of the turning of the tide.
Do *NOT* mess with SINGURU !! I'm not exactly sure what he said, other than "OH MANI PADME HUM" but this was my first 3-0 night (as Chick Hearn would have said) "Since Hector was a pup."
Anyway, SINGURU....whatever it was you did.....THANK YOU !!
There will be at least five plays today (nothing big so far).....but it looks like one of them will be a Zapster-Tater "agreed play." Will post them after I get back from "seat selection day" at (soon to be called something other than) Edison Field. VERY pleased with the off-season moves Bill Stoneman has made and am sure I will soon be once again accepting bids for Angels' home games in the 2004 World Series
But back to the task at hand. A couple of good days have boosted my records to....:
Again, nothing big tonight....and no "agreed plays" (although Tater and I both like Dallas OVER....just not enough to have it count against our "agreed play" stats). ANY-wayyyy......here are six games that I come up with as plays.....:
Phoenix UNDER 179 (4 Units)
Sacramento OVER 187 (5 Units)
Chicago UNDER 194 (7 Units)
Dallas OVER 195.5 (5 Units)
Minnesota OVER 193.5 (5 Units)
Milwaukee OVER 183 (7 Units)
Some tweaking and adjusting seems to be paying off so far.....needless to say I hope it continues tonight.
Denver OVER 210 (4 Units)
New Jersey UNDER 166.5 (7 Units)
Phoenix UNDER 190 (10 Units)
Boston UNDER 183.5 (5 Units)
Miami UNDER 179 (10 Units)
Utah UNDER 170.5 (5 Units)
Sacramento OVER 213 (7 Units)
A lot of work to make 1.1 Units, but I'll take it over a loss. 3-3 night (tie ignored) brings the record to........:
YTD 131-122 - Plus 66.4 Units - 51.78% Winners
My bigger plays (15 & 20 Units) are still.....:
YTD 34-25 - 57.63% Winners
Haven't had a "biggie" in several days. They come when they come....can't force 'um.
Meanwhile the early game tomorrow is VERY early, so I will post the play now:
CLEVELAND OVER 190 (7 Units)
Have a great "Super Bowl Sunday." My one and only super bowl play tomorrow is a prop play.....I'm getting 35-1 and saying no touchdown will be scored in the game. Hey.....it's unlikely, but 35-1 ?? I say "why not" !!
