I hate being below 54% but will not try to hurry back. New conservative approach is one for one and of course I am going to stick to it in spite of the additional time it requires.

No agreed plays today (I'll save ya the trip). But Tater and I do both like Sacramento OVER for an "unofficial agreed lean." That is the new term for the day

I wanted to have 4 selections for today because for the only time in 100 years, the date is 1-23-4....but alas I can only find 3 worth listing......hopefully we will all still be here on 1-23-45.....and I promise 5 selections for that day !!!

Nothing like a 1/2 point loss to kick off a brilliant 0-3 evening, featuring a 3 pointer with 2 seconds left to cost me an under.....and that wasn't even the 1/2 point loss !!

Enough about that....luck is part of this and it works both ways.

Unit count is still healthy, as the "biggies" have been hitting pretty well, but the overall winning percentage is becoming embarrassing.

YTD 117-108 - Plus 51.5 Units - 52% Winners

This raises the interesting question of unequal plays. I wold now be minus units if I were making equal plays, so in that respect they make sense. But some would say it would be better to just ignore the smaller plays and make equal plays on what would have been the bigger ones.

I have no idea which is right, so I'll just keep posting what comes up and hopefully get back on track. Tonight's 3 plays lost by a total of 7.5 points and I could have just as easily gone 3-0.....so I don't think I need to do any more "tweaking." Still I do apologize humbly to anyone who lost on these.

I don't have the stomich to run any numbers tonight, but I will get a good night's rest and attack tomorrow's games with some fresh energy.

As I always say....it is MUCH more fun to post after a winning night than after a losing night. Trust me....posting tonight is NOT fun !!!

Keep your head up Zap. This was a funky night in the NBA with all the upsets, bad calls, and strange plays. I only played one game and lost, but we'll bounce back.

Hitting the biggie was a heartwarming way to begin the day. I'm adding one last play for today. I feel the LeBron being out will indeed cause the scoring to be lower in the Philly-Cleveland game, but I think the linemakes went a bit overboard in their adjustments sooooo......

Zap, what's up with your other site not being updated? and your 'saturdays picks' thread here in RX does not include your # of units. I've got to check 3 different places to figure out your picks...

I don't mean to nag but just want your advice on how best to track your picks so I can take them myself.

Sorry about that Larry (and anybody else who had that problem today). I didn't have the ability to update the site from home until just a few minutes ago. Tomorrow (Sunday) the picks will be up on the site as usual.

The daily threads are just there for Rx Scorekeeper, so I don't usually put the units there. Best place to look really is the website, now that I have the necessary software installed at home. The picks will often be posted there the night before the games.

Looks like we are having a good unit day today....assuming Phiily/Cleveland can score 3 points in the last 3 minutes). I hope you found the numbers on time.
