I'm not at .500 yet and I know everyone on this forum is getting killed in college hoops because I've been bangin some of the top plays every day.

It's one thing to lose but to give someone 4 points (VCU cough cough) and lose by 10-11 straight up? Somebody's not doing their homework.

Good point blue! I often wonder how the hell they do it. You know, they market these "Come take a tour of our new ball park" in just about every city.

I want to take a tour of the "BOOKMAKERS OFFICE" in vegas. I want to know how they can hit the number on every damn game.

Don't this guys ever have a bad day at home and just screw up?

Unbelievable.

they screw up once in a while but not very often. if a gambler has a bad week...he quits for a while or all together. usually, its not his income source so he doesn't starve.

a bookie has a bad week...he may not eat. he has a bad month or a bad season, he may be out on the street. the pro bookmakers live, eat and breathe this stuff. in my opinion, there is no way to beat them. the way to win is to bet the opposite of what the public is betting. people that are so confident in their "locks" make me laugh. those are the biggest money makers when you take the other side.

over the course of a season, the books will always win out. although for some reason, they don't seem to do well at baseball. not sure why.

Opposite of public? Not the case last night with Miami (Ohio). Public loved Miami, I went the other way but LeFors did throw two picks late in the fourth that could have given me a back door cover.

Thanks for the insight. Your post makes me want to quit!

Blue, that is some funny stuff. Three words:

Patience and Discipline

1. Less games, bigger bets!

2. Remember the public loves favorites and puts way too much emphasis on a team's most recent performance; The bookmaker uses that knowledge to its advantage - that is a FACT.

3. ALWAYS look twice before betting a public dog.

4. Tenn Tech was a public play this week against ETSU and got stung at home; App St. just won outright as a public dog over SMU. They play tomorrow and App St. will be catching a decent number of points as the linesmaker is looking for the public to be all over App St. again. I will be on Tenn Tech. Take a closer look.

5. NOBODY wins em all.

Take it for what its worth

Kid Lock couldn't agree with you more than on theory #1 Less games more money. To many guys try to go 4,5,6 and 0. I love to see one strong post or two, it's hard enough to find those. Personally I don't even bother looking at guys that post a lot of games, that's just me. Sure some days guys will get hot and have an 8-2 day, but in the long run they're fighting to get back to 500. You learn from guys like Action and the NY Reb, at least I have! Good luck!
