campaign against John Kerry. First of all Kerry left no man behind and Junior, well Junior simply left. In 2000, Junior and his gang of neocon, draft-dodging chickenhawks questioned John McCain's mental stability after being a POW in the Hanoi Hilton for 5 1/2 years. First Kerry didn't deserve one of his 3 Purple Hearts and now after 33 years, the actions of a young and angry Vietnam hero are called to task.

As a decorated Vietnam Veteran, I accept John Kerry's apology and explaination of his actions some 3 decades ago and completely understand his motivations. Only fools talk about or comment on things that are far beyond their comprehension not having experienced what other men had to endure while in combat situations.

I find it very interesting that Junior or the RNC would even question Kerry's military record or subsequent actions incidental to the Peace Movement in light of Junior's very questionable military duty.

I sincerely doubt that the Republican lies will mislead the American public about Kerry's courageous military service to our country but are making a last futile attempt to to deflect Junior's lack of service to his country. And for Vice-Fuher Cheney, he had "other priorities" than serving his country.

Yes, I can only laugh at these hypocrits and hope they are voted out of office!

Another Kerry lie...

WASHINGTON -- Vietnam combat records posted on John F. Kerry's campaign website for the month of January 1969 as evidence of his service aboard swift boat No. 94 describe action that occurred before Kerry was skipper of that craft, according to the officer who said he commanded the boat at the time. ADVERTISEMENT

On the site, the Massachusetts senator is described as the skipper of Navy boat No. 94 during several actions in late January 1969.

However, Edward Peck, who was the skipper of the 94 before Kerry took over, said combat reports posted by the campaign for January 1969 involve action when he was the skipper, not Kerry. Peck, who was seriously wounded in fighting that took place on Jan. 29, 1969, said he believes Kerry campaign aides made a mistake in claiming Kerry as skipper of the 94 at that time.

On the Kerry website, the report of the combat on that day on the 94 boat is posted as occurring during Kerry's time as skipper of the boat. Peck said Kerry replaced him after the Jan. 29, 1969, event.

"Those are definitely mine," Peck said, referring to the combat reports that the Kerry campaign posted as representing Kerry's action. "There is no doubt about it.

A lot of guys came back from Nam pissed off at the whole mess. First you hit the streets from Travis, and get spit on, and accused of killing babies by long haired draft dodgers. Then you are lucky to get a decent job, natrually many vets spoke out about the war being wrong. We were the lucky ones that came back alive, You had to be there to know what it was really like comming home to a hostile nation.
