this entire thread is funny, but this post made me laugh out loud. :nohead:
I agree. Awesome post. Figured people would go both ways. Guess there really isnt a right answer. Some girls I think would like it, others wouldnt.
My guess if you call they usually dont answer and you are stuck leaving a voicemail. Guess this isnt so bad if the ball goes back into her court.
This is why I think calling the first time can be a problem. There's a good chance she doesn't pick up, and even if you leave a voicemail, who's to say she'll read it? I never read my voicemail's on my cell. She might call back, but might not if it's an unknown number.
To be honest though, both can and should work if you're good enough with words and play both well. Texting has always worked for me, but I can see why people would say to be more personal and call.
Me and you agree on so much, and this as well. I thought Roger would dominate this match because he had a day off between matches. Are you surprised to see this? I laid a good chunk on Roger today. Thought the odds were way to low. Roger still is the best hard court player in the world.
Why don't you text her. Ask for her Facebook page.
Then you can text & email for the next 3 weeks.
Seriously, call her. If it doesn't work, oh well. Move on.
I realize that texting is extremely popular with the younger generation. High school, college, etc.
But everybody knows the younger generation is generally a bunch of spoiled pussies with limited social skills.
Don't hide behind a text-message.
His first impression already happened. This is just a follow up on that. You're acknowledging that you're interested in possibly meeting up again but you don't have to call and force an awkward conversation. If she responds to the text you can call her, but if she doesn't she doesn't want to talk IMO.
For the people who said text... would your opinion change if I told you she was 33 (6 years older then me)?
