Yet Another Peaceful Muslim

LONDON, England (CNN) -- A British judge Friday sentenced Abdullah Ibrahim El-Faisal to nine years in prison after he was convicted of inciting others to commit murder and for stirring racial hatred.

The Muslim cleric was found guilty last week of the rare charge of soliciting murder though there was no evidence that any of his followers carried out his words. He was arrested in February 2002.

There are hundred, perhaps thousands of fanatics, but hundreds of millions of muslims are good, peaceful people. It is becoming clearer by the post that you are uncapable of accepting others and parting with your stereotypical ways.

Frank, what the crap are you talking about? We already established that this guy does not represent mainstream Islam. The religion has evolved.
There are still christians out there who teach unevolved christianity, and Jews who teach unevolved Judaism, but none of these people represent the mainstream in their religion anymore.

Thus, the "top post" does NOT suggest that Islam is identical to how it was in 600 AD.

actually, most say that under Mohammed Islam WAS a religion of peace and that it was only after some very fundamentalist mullahs took over (in the past 100 years) that various sects (not ALL branches) began to turn fundamentalist and violent.

The same can be said of Christianity years after the death of Christ.
