It's the CFL and that's just the way it is gents.
Tell me a fucking team playing at home playing against an undefeated team, supposedly filled with key personel injuries, in the same division and defending Grey Cup champions to boot, can't muster a couple of feet to gain a first down and keep alive what would have been the winning drive in tact.
Bullshit!!
That lack of force or push on Burris' part on that potential field goal drive, combined with the lame push by one, maybe two or more offensive linemen on the Stampeders side cost many a bettor plenty of coin tonight while at the same time depositing a grand ole sum of coin in the bookmakers pockets.
Hey it's the CFL and should we, who wagered on the losing side, have thought of any other outcome as the game neared.
I did provide an interesting point, to which nobody bothered to respond to, moments prior to kickoff and now I'm still wondering about the same point even more since the Stamps coughed up an interesting win.
Regarding the Calgary ML which was posted at -270, why when taking the pointspread at -7 and buying all seven points to essentially obtain the Calgary ML, does the number go to -315 and not -270?
Also this was the first of a home and home set, so tell me now, will everyone wager on the home side out in Regina next week and have the visiting Stampeders along with Burris push for a first down in order to set DeAngelis up with the winning field goal from 35 yards out?
You know the more I have come to think about the style of one Henry Burris, I would not want to stake my 'wager of the year' on this guy. He looks a little too fucking nervous out there on each and every toss for my liking. And come to think of it, that's what his passes are, fucking tosses; not throws!
"If Calgary wins straight up, we both make 8 grand." :missingte
