I like Minnesota a little more than you do, I'm on the other side of the Ok St. game and am with you dead on on the Nevada game. I only play about 3-5 a week...Bama -6.5 is another one I'm on...GL all year....

Minnesota is a sexy play this week, not as much value as I would like. OKL State is a unique play for me, I'm just not as high on GA this year as most people. Like how the experts deem this as "one of those GA years when they exceed expectations". Classic. A lot of "sharps" on ND here, seems most are drunk off the Kool Aid. Bama is a lean, so I guess that makes us friends in a few of these. GL to you :103631605

Well, I must say you definitely have a volume approach to betting, but there's a huge issue with the practicality of trying to tail this..

You're laying huge amounts of units each week (I counted ~18 for tomorrow) across 5 books. Nothing wrong with shopping for lines, and by absolutely no means does it invalidate your record obviously.

But for the average $100=1* bettor, look at what he needs to do. He would need $800 wagered at Matchbook this week to cover the ~8units you have with them, so probably would need a good $3-4g in there to cover the season.

And who knows next week which books are gonna carry the better lines for the majority of your plays, so would probably be looking at the $3-4g spread over 5 books or about $15-$20K roll in play to follow your plays.

How many $100 bettors on this site do you think carry around rolls that big? It would be total overkill to have that much money tied up instead of invested in, say, at least a freaking treasury bond or something.

Or, I suppose you could do the bare minimum say $1.5g spread over 5 books for only a $7.5g roll and kind of rebalance your rolls at each book if one's getting too high or too low. But how many trips to the goddamn bank or Western Union, or book-to-book transfer fees will that take...

Given your unit is $250, are you telling us you have the approximately $40k needed over all these books to play the lines you post? If so, that's a pretty sweet streaminlined operation you got there. But, then your betting unit comes out to .6% of your total roll. As I said earlier, total overkill. If you were to invest that in a simple 5% savings bond, that may come out to more money than you saved shaving half points and dimes off money lines.

If you don't have that much money at play, then how do you do it?

Not trying to criticize or call you out, just saying it's damn near impossible for anyone to follow these plays without getting taxed for extra juice or a point/half a point here and there..... which can definitely add up over the course of a season with so many picks being made each week.

DS: First of all read post#1

Bankroll! (VERY IMPORTANT) This all depends on what your ambitions are and how your financial status looks like. Whatever the case you need to make sure that your biggest bet (my 2* "if" you decide on tailing me) is no bigger than 3% of your bankroll. For example: if your gonna bet my 2* at $300 you need a $10,000 bankroll etc...

Now given your efforts here I'm going to elaborate some more:

I personally play my 2 unit plays at $500. In post #1 under bankroll I state that your biggest bet should be a 3% of your bankroll. Well I actually have a 25k bankroll which clearly exceeds the 17k needed to make a bet. I make the majority of my plays with matchbook. So this is how my bankroll for each book looks like:

12k bankroll matchbook account, 4k in bookmaker, 3k 5Dimes, 2k Greek, 2k BetJamica and 2k in Bodog. Week by week if need be I adjust these bankrolls back to these numbers.

For someone whos tailing me and is a $200 2* unit player I recommend a 7k starting bankroll. If you can't afford a 7k you should not be betting $100 per unit period!

As you can see I use matchbook for around 50% of my wagers so for a 7k starting bankroll I suggest 3.5k bankroll with Matchbook, 1k Bookmaker, .75k 5dimes, .75k Greek, .75k Betjamica, .75k Bodog.

If you can't afford 7k then bet my plays at $50 per unit and you will only need a 3.5k bankroll.

If you don't understand bankroll or refuse to follow these suggestions honestly don't gamble. Also as I talked about in post #58 if you lack discipline again don't gamble. You will lose period!

I agree wholeheartedly...stood out my first glance when lines opened last month. Really liked them after reading up on their personnel changes, returning players, etc. GL

Why can't there be more people like you around man.........first I must appreciate that you have a plan, without one your dead..next you stress discipline which I lack at times(working on it though)...I'm the mlb and nhl type, but the way you make you thread interesting and all makes me wana get more into football which I'm not good at, wish I had a bankroll to tail you man but sadly I don't. So I will just be looking through your thread and get as much info as posible and see if someone can sponsor me something towards a starting bankroll...maybe you lol..

O a question for you. How do you handle things when you are on a bad run?do you take a break, minimize bet size etc?

Peace...........

I thank you for those kind words butta.

I don't handle things any differently when I'm on a bad run, this is part of the discipline that needs to be instilled. 2 or even 4 losing weeks in a row doesn't justify scaling back, etc. This is why people lose cause they go on "tilt" and become undisciplined. Lets say I were to lose 5 units today and 3 units next week do you think my approach will be any different for week 3?

If one doesn't stick to their guns especially when that gun is working then gambling isn't for you.

I've spoken to local bookies and what they like more than anything else is undisciplined gamblers. Those that scale back, second guess themselves, go on tilt and go overboard on one game. This is how they make their money and how you lose yours.

I'll give you a football analogy:

If your running the ball for 4-5 yards a pop and you have 3rd and 2 or even 2nd and 1 teams whats the correct call? well coordinators get to cute at times and dial up a pass. This is one of the most frustrating things for me to watch cause they are not sticking to their guns.

So what do I do if I were to lose 2k from my bankroll? I go to the nearest supermarket and reup back to my 25k bankroll. i have the utmost confidence in what I'm doing and if you don't (directed to all not you butta) then you should buy a 24 pack get shit faced with your buds and just enjoy the game casually as many do.

GL to you bud I hope this helps you in any way
