that isnt something I said too well. I do like to look around this website to see if anyone has any ideas on games I havnt looked at or hadnt thought of a good reason to bet. If something sounds good, I might tag along.

in the recent Yankees road trip, however I was out in front on that one. It didnt look like it was going to be good for them and it wasnt. Moose did stop Texas. Texas was a decetly sized dog. I do have some respect for Petitte and Moose, but not at overinflated prices.

Yankees just can't hit at all so far....maybe they'll wake up. or not

I knew we were doomed back in March.
I never liked Melke, Hughes as terrible work habits and will always be on the DL.
Cashman should have made the deal for Santana.
It was a no brainer, two unprovens and a never will be for a Hall of Famer starter.
We have Christian and Gardner who can bot play center.
I perosnally am big on Gardner, has a plus arm, blazing speed, no pop, but can do most everything else.

And so it goes......

that thud you heard may have been the end of the 2008 NY Yankee season..

it appears urgency is not in this team's vocabulary.

Why give up prospects and money for Santana when they can sign Sabathia for just the money. Santana isn't what he was before, hes one of the best pitchers in the game now 2 years ago he was on his own level.

Another leadoff man on, and the 9 hitter this time.

If they dont score here they should make gold reservations and just quit.

Tonight the Yankees could be a

"PARLAY KILLER"

The team you may think of as a sure bet with the highest moneyline that you just decided to throw in your 2-3-4-5 team parlay.

Beware.

lol I got em in one of mine.

My night in a nutshell. Damn. I bit that line just like the rookie I am. You know, I came to this forum to learn from those who walked the road before me and believe me, I have learned a lot in the past couple of months of hanging around. But today, I just didn't have the time to really check out what the posters thought of this game and just threw it in with Cleveland (Greenbacks idea) and Minnesota (my own decision). And what do you know? Winner, winner, loser. Sigh. If I had seen this thread before hand, I certainly would have decided no play on this one as both sides seem to have great pros and cons. Personally, I try and stick with the "easier" ones. Yankees and Petite vs. Royals seemed to be an easier pick... what a rookie move. Thanks to all who contribute here and help those like me. Now if I could just get out of my own way...

I want to say something about this guy Knucklecup..

Constantly starts informative baseball threads in which he prefers no nonsense posting. Has the sense of humor of a dried prune but these threads are not constructed for laughter. They are for everyone to give their input on the games..Solid addition to the RX forum..

PS--As a result of this thread I took the Royals tonight..Nice ML winner!..Thanks:toast:

Gotta love seeing Rivera in the 9th he blows the game every time. Thought the Royals were done when it was a tied game, but the wild pitch wins it for them. Soria gave me a heart attack, but he held on.

I only bet on the Yankees when Mussina starts which is Sunday and probably a RL play

Still the Yankees season is over and I will continue to fade them with these crazy lines.

IMO there was no right side on this play, just value and those of you who played KC saw right through the BS line, unfortunately I bit like a mouse in an F'n cheddar trap, good capping fellas.

Agreed, same can be applied to Mr. Covers.
Nice hit KC backers, didn't cost me a thing, nice to see some pick up some extra weekend cash.
