As many of you that have been here over the past few years know the NBA is a great chance to win lots of money on the non football days. In fact last year in the first half of the season I was 45 games above .500 in the first half!!!

I'm going to do thing differently this year in my one and only NBA basketball trend.First off, I will not be posting unit or dollar amounts for my posted plays and will let my record do the talking for me!!!! I will only be posting my "best plays" and if a play is not good enough to be considered my best then I will not be posting it here in my trend!!!!

I'm trying to focus on a less is more concept again this year (which I didn't follow and lost a lot of bad game that I should have passed on)and feel that I due for a break out season once again!!!!
I'm setting my goals this season at 58% or better winning percentage and I know that I can do that by playing less games then I have in the past!!!! Normally 2 to 3 plays during the weekdays and maybe 3-5 on the weekends.

I don't win all the time, and sometime I go on very hot and cold streaks just like anyone else that gambles!!!! If you have anything negative to say about my plays or the way I do thing, please keep it out of my trend!!!! I will be posting my results in this trend and other intresting information I come across during the season.

The NBA is a very long season (6 months if you count the NBA Playoffs) and there will be plenty of great chances to make some serious cash this season. My team of experts have been killing it this NBA Preseason (hitting around 63%) and some of my members received a few plays here and there for some easy winners!!! The only question that I have to ask you is...... How much money do you want to make this season???

3 Long Shots

Boston Celtics (Opened 20/1, Currently 20/1)

Are the Celtics that good or is the East just that bad? Boston made leaps and bounds in 2015-16, finishing third in the Eastern Conference – be it a distant third behind Cleveland and Toronto (25/1). The Celtics are on the KD radar, which is why we’re giving them a nod over the Raptors (who may have been Durant’s favorite team growing up, but c’mon. He’s not crossing the border).

Even without Durant, Boston can make some noise by landing a solid free agent class and bolstering a deep roster with three first-round picks (and five second rounders) in the upcoming NBA Draft. The Celtics have solid coaching in place with Brad Stevens and young budding talent. All the C’s need now is a superstar to take them over the top.

Washington Wizards (Opened 100/1, Currently 100/1)

The Wizards have been luring KD with the hometown pride card for the past two years, with Durant hailing from the nation’s capital. And while it may not have had much impact before the NBA Finals, watching LeBron bring a ring to Cleveland may stir up some new feelings in Durant. It also doesn’t hurt that his old OKC coach Scott Brooks is now on the sidelines in D.C.

Even if KD snubs the Wiz, Washington has plenty of cap room to make it rain on this year’s free agents. The Wizards need some help on the defensive end and adding some quality components via free agency is paramount, since they don’t have a pick in this year’s draft. Bradley Beal’s new contract is still up in the air but when healthy, he and John Wall are one of the best backcourt combos in the league. Complementing them with some toughness inside is just what the Wizards need. Well, that and Kevin Durant.

Memphis Grizzlies (Opened 80/1, Currently 80/1)

Oklahoma City isn’t the only franchise biting its nails when it comes to losing a star to free agency. Memphis is hoping to re-sign point guard Mike Conley this summer, and doing so could put the Grizzlies back in the mix in the West. Before losing center Marc Gasol to injury, Memphis was a playoff team at 30-19 and looked to be picking up steam. Then, the big bearded one went down (along with a slew of ailments up and down the roster) and the Grizz hit the skids, finishing 12-21 without Gasol, including just one win in their last 14 games.

Given Conley returns and Memphis boosts its swing positions with names like Harrison Barnes or Chandler Parsons, the Grizzlies will be ready to rough up the rest of the West. And if Conley has run his course in Music City, perhaps the franchise decides to cut its losses and burn the whole thing down to the ground with some big-name trades. It’s all or nothing with this live long shot.
