XBOX Repair

I have 3 red lights on my kid's XBox 360. Has anyone taken one in this condition locally for repair? Where, and how much did it cost?

Anyone ship their XBox 360 to Microsoft Service Center for repair?

Did aduanas try to tax the repaired console again when it was shipped back?

The XBox is still under warranty repair for 3 red lights (November 26, 2007, warranty expires November 26, 2010), so I'll probably do this instead.

Well, I did find a place that said they could fix this for 20k colones, but of course the fix did not work for very long.

This happened to me in the states. I sent it back to Microsoft and they fixed it and had it back to me in about a week. Not sure how that is going to pan out here though as you will have to send it back to the states. You may want to give these guys a call:

I am sure they will be able to point you in the right direction if not be able to ship and receive the console for you.

They wont fix it here. Microsoft in Escazu will tell ya the warranty is not good for Costa Rica. I ship mine last year and I got it back like 1 month after. You need to send it to someone in the States who can claim the warranty for you.
