The top two teams in the Big East are going at it Wednesday, and they both have strong Over records thus far, with Marquette at 15-10-1 and Xavier at 17-7-1. The Eagles are third overall in offense and No. 66 in defense on Ken Pomeroy’s charts; the Musketeers are No. 8 and No. 100 respectively, and both teams run at a brisk pace – they’ll get in around 70 possessions apiece. That’s why Wednesday’s total is so big at 159.5. The projections I’m looking at have Marquette winning by something like 81-75, so there’s plenty of wiggle room to shimmy Under that total.
