Championship League
West Brom -1 (vs luton) @ 2.00 Samvo (2units)
&
West Brom vs Luton Over 2.5 @ 1.80 Samvo (1unit)
Luton are in a big mess, having let one of their best midfielders go last week in 28 year old Carlos Edwards to Sunderland, they have now gone and sold Rowan Vine their top striker to Birmingham yesterday and to rub it in, Leon Barnett (key central defender) is suspended today.
I really do not know where Luton are going with their transfer policy of letting all their star players go, last summer they let their captain Kevin Nicholls go as well as then top scorer and warhorse Stevie Howard leave too. Money is tight, but these are 4 star players that would have given Luton (roughly working out) 11 extra points than they have now and have them sitting optimistically just below the playoff places, but money is tight at the club.
With West Brom holding the best home record in the league, there is no question that they are a v.good side and ive always said, one of the best in the league, but a new manager, inconsistency and very poor away form for a title challenging side has positioned them only in the playoff positions and only just, thanks to 4 wins and 2 draw in December.
With Nigel Quasie the only departure so far for West Brom and with possibly Zoltan Gera and Nathan Ellington who is shite imo heading out soon too, West Brom manager Tony Mowbray is getting rid of the deadwood and keeping the side he wants and will get him promotion to the Premiership next season.

To summarise, the departure of another pair of star players this transfer window will take its toll and surely dent morale in the Luton team, and with goals at a premium, having lost another 2 key players this side of xmas who combined have scored 6 out of 12 goals in the last 10 games in all competitions, they are in danger of dropping deeper into the relegation scrap and West Brom will need to take advantage of this situation. With the immense attacking options available to West Brom and the current situation at Luton, this will be a comprehensive 3 pts for West Brom and since ive caught this slightly late, i am having to gamble on them to win by 2 or more and get my money back if its just by the one goal.
