All the more reason to shop for lines and to have several outs. If you are a true gambler you need several. You don't need to keep a ton of money in all the accounts but enough to cover a couple of wagers. Also, it is important to have books that don't offer standard or mainstream lines. Bodog is a great example and ChadC is dead on. Giants were available at +6 anytime you wanted it. Bodog is one of my outs because they offer great lines for the underdogs. I have another out that I was able to catch the Falcons at +7.5 this weekend. I bet my standard bet on the Falcons and then put some more on them because I was also able to get the Titans at Skybook at -6. It was -6.5 and I get a free half point. No way I was going to pass up that large of a middle opportunity. And, I was able to place these 2 bets on opposite teams within minutes of each other at different books. I myself now have 5 offshore accounts and a newly found local. Being in Nebraska I know that the local joints always have the Huskers by a couple more points than anywhere else. Case in point, I checked with a buddy, Huskers -4.5 over Colorado. You can guarantee I got down on the Buffs with that number. Even if I wasn't sure If I like Colorado I would have bet them at that number knowing that at anytime I could get down on Nebraska at less than 3 offshore. If you are a true gambler you can't pass these opportunities up. YOU MUST get the best lines.
