Let me start out by saying i had
No money on the game
I am for neither team
But that was the BIGGEST cheat job by the refs i have ever seen... The last 5 controversial flags were on the Patriots... Just unbelievable .. Gronk never extended his arm and chung sure as hell never held ..so instead of the pats running the clock out or it being 3rd and 19.. They gave the game to DENVER... and in overtime if the first play wasnt pass interference then they should never pull the flag out unless they blow their nose... I am just shocked .. I never even mentioned the first play on denvers drive the pass to thomas their was basically a horse collar by denver offensive lineman to keep oswilder. From being sacked...
This was just unbelievable to watch.
I feel bad for any handicappers who took New England because you got cheated bad by the refs... I am stunned as a bettor this was nothing more than someone having put alot of money in a refs pocket..

Brady & NE get more calls in their favor than any team in nfl.... what goes around comes around!!

Lol thats coaching and being conservative. I think aa lot of people are calling stuff fixed that isn't fixed lol.

There has to be an incentive. Shaving points in professional sports doesn't happen in todays day and age. Only rigging is by league officials...not the guys with zebra shirts. They are just the messenger. Some games have no incentive to manipulate the rules... so there are some games were a ref just makes a mistake. Like the bills/pats inadvertent whistle...anyone screaming rigged at that needs their heads checked.

Stern was a crook plain & simple.
The whole MJ to baseball gambling cover up.
Knicks ping pong ball cover up.

I call it controlling things to keep the audience watching. Lines and totals make people stay tuned to the end. Listen to the announcer make references such as that score was important to someone. Watch tonight how something will be in doubt to the end. Ratings equal $$$$$$$$

Guess what there isn't one person on this site in the know. I guess you are still sitting at the table trying to figure out the sucker.

To all the people who think theses games are not fixed. One question for you. Have you every heard of a ref losing there job over bad calls. How about being suspended. NO and no. You or I would be gone. They are just doing what they are told to do.

Couple issues I have with this:

1) The only questionable flag was the Gronk flag, cmon lets just be real. And yes that was a bad flag. Everything else was a real penalty.
2) The Pats could have closed that game out - or given Denver the ball back with very little time left but chose to throw the ball in those conditions rather than keep it on the ground. Questionable playcalls, their aggressiveness bit them there.
3) If it was a fix job, why didn't the Broncos win the coin toss in OT? No fix on that one. Pats could go down and score there, game over.
4) It was reverse line movement, so a little odd. I saw a high % on New England yet the Denver line went from +3 to +2.5, anytime you see this and you still take that low hanging fruit on the other side; shame on you.

The refs are contractors, not employees and they hate the league which locked them out over modest benefits. If the game was fixed, why not call a hold on the Bolden TD that made it 21-7 -- at that point the Pat's win probability was higher than 85 percent. The refs fucked this game up royally, but it wasn't fixed and all the posters on here who claim they "knew" the game was fixed because of the halftime line and such know no such thing. They are, like all of us, struggling to figure out who will win games.

This proves nothing.

As Carl Sagan said, extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence and no one here has produded any evidence, just some anecdotal examples. Look I am a Pat's fan, those officials cost me money and fucked my team over. But no one on this thread has provided a shred of ACTUAL evidence -- just anecdotal observations. Moreover, if the Pat's game was fixed, why not call a hold on the Bolden TD. At that point it was 21-7 and if Harper didn't muff a punt the officials would've had few oppurtunities to fix the game.
