I don't know if your serious or sarcastic. Never even heard of either event. In any case, they wouldn't be an ESPN mini-series documentary

Actually serious.

Brady went on Howard Stern last year after he signed with Tampa. I couldnt see him going on Howard's show as a patriot

Brady also went on Lebron's HBO show "the shop" this summer. Brady the patriot wouldnt step foot there.

If Brady was still a patriot, there would be no espn mini series documentary

Yea, I caught a glimpse of that last night.

My immediate reaction was WTF?

Is this thing being released now, in the middle of the NFL season?

Very surprised.

He did Tom vs Time that multi-episode Facebook doc like 3-4 years ago.

BB doesn't know anything about Facebook :)

PS: neither do I come to think of it

Seems like a potential distraction to me, acting like a primadonna now?

Primadonna distractions sap energy and focus from the team. (this is why we are talking about this, Chop)

That's why I will be betting against Cam Newton this week. "I'm baaaaaack".

He's changed his brand/image some ever since leaving New England. I think some of that has to do with no longer being in the Patriots organization. But I do think a big part of it is by his choice. He knows he's nearing the end of his career so he's doing things on his terms now.

How many commercials was he in during the first 15 years of his career? Not many on a national brand scale. Now, he seems to be in a shit ton.

As far as this being a distraction because it's "in-season"? I don't think that makes a difference. Whatever work he did with it was probably in the off-season. Brady is all business and all about winning during the season. This won't have any effect on his play whatsoever.

Would Jordan have done Space Jam if Belichick was his coach? Would Belichick object and then Jordan tell him fuck off and say you are sub .500 without me? Hell of a sports radio segment to deep dive.

I love Tom Brady and have never "disparaged" him in any way. I have wished him nothing but success in Tampa.

Would he have done this "Man in the Arena" thing under Bellichick? I highly doubt it. And no, I don't think it's good for "team". That's why he would have never done it under Bellichick.

It's silly to think I'm disparaging him, and your analogy sucks too

In Belicheck's world

I think it's a distraction if anyone in the organization is thinking about or talking about anything but the next opponent

He's that anul
