But they only need 1 or 2 yards on 5th down to win.
In this game CM got to run a play illegally just like the buffs.
Only difference is in today's game the team completed a Hail Mary instead of the 2 or 3 yards the buffs got on that play you mention.
So it would be hard for you to say say your example stands alone.
I can make the strong case that today's game was even worse .

I hit the Bad Beat Jackpot, while another player was conterfeited
Long story short I hit a Bad beat Jackpot 3 ways. Unbelievable hand where I had quad Aces, one player had quad Queens, and another player had the Royal Flush. Because the Aces were a better hand than the Queens I received the 50% portion of the bbj while the queens received table share, and of course the Royal received 25%. My question is should I have felt bad enough about the queens that he should receive a portion of my percentage? My instincts say that this is the poker world and I need to maximize my equity and not worry about it because the rule is already in place for a ridiculous situation like this. Not going to say I would expect anyone else to be kind enough to pass a higher percentage off to me if I were in the queens shoes. I received around $26k for this hand while The queens received about $2k.

First off, nice river, congrats! Secondly, hell no you shouldn't feel bad. It's poker. Shit happens to some degree every other hand. That's the rule, that's the verdict, that's that. Next hand.
I guess the only question would be was the quad queens a regular. It could get awkward, but not "ok i'll split my 26K with you" awkward.
What was the flop action? Seems must have been played cool enough the flush draw needed to stick around on the paired board? Or just shorter stacked?
