Huu, better to be lucky than good. DET was dead to rights but a 51-yd TD catch & run by the great Brock Wright, who the Jets secondary was stymied by on his only reception of the day, sealed the DET win. DET’s improved “D” did keep them in the gm as did their run gm, while Zach Wilson needed a very good gm to win but did just okay. Also nailed CIN pick over TB & Teaser hit w/a silly KC making me sweat showing their “C” gm against HOU. All morning I thought I had DAL in my Teaser & was cursing the TV when they lost to JAX by 6, then saw I had put NOR in @ the last min. Phew. My distrust of Dak saved me there.

MIA -3 ½ is still in the PO hunt @ 8-6, off 3 straight rd losses. The “O” found rhythm finally @ BUF, but the depleted secondary gave up chunk plays to Josh Allen to blow the gm. Now they’re back hm & would like to win out to guarantee POs. GB won their last 2, however that was against LAR & CHI. GB is 3-5 ATS on the rd (4-4 SU) while MIA is 4-2 ATS @ hm (5-1 SU). GB is coming off a short wk while MIA is itching to get back on the field to break their losing streak. Rodgers historically has bad gms in the state of Florida, however he statistically had a good gm this yr @ TB, & it will be a cool 48 degrees for this tilt. Rodgers has been most successful this yr when the run gm is humming, however that’s a strength for MIA’s maligned “D”. They’re #10 against the run, led by Wilkins & Seiler. As everyone knows Rodgers likes to hold onto the ball to allow his receivers to get open, but MIA’s bookend DEs Chubb & Phillips (7 sacks) will be in his face often if that happens. MIA’s thin secondary will be getting some relief as well, w/Rowe, Crossen & Campbell likely to return. Somehow GB’s high-priced “D” is 4th worst against the run so hopefully McDaniel unleashes Mostert once more like he did in BUF. GB has the 2nd best “D” against the pass, but I fully expect big plays from Hill & Waddle to help cover the #.
