DEN saved my wk w/2 pick-6’s on Famous Jameis. But I have to rant a little here. That moron Vance Joseph had front row seats to his backup CB getting burned over & over again throughout 3 quarters by Jeudy, finally made Surtain shadow him (which he did shut him down on 1 drive), then proceeded back to zone where Jeudy burned them again. What’s the definition of insanity?? This is the ultimate case of talent overcoming poor coaching. If DEN faces a smart coaching staff in the POs, they should be able to take advantage of Joseph (who was MIA’s former DC when we had a bunch of talent but was one of the worst “D”s). ARI’s oline stunned me by playing a near perfect gm, allowing Murray to pick apart (by his standards) MIN’s porous secondary, to kill my POW. Cousins looked frantic in ATL & was severely underthrowing his receivers vs LAC. He may have an injury he’s not admitting to. Teaser hit w/out a sweat & luckily TB/CAR went into OT for that Over to hit.
Regular Season POW 6-7, Teasers 11-4, GOY 1-0, Overall 35-33-4
MIA -6 are still in the WC hunt amazingly & need to win to keep hopes alive. They get the reeling NYJ in the MIA heat, which normally bodes well for the hm team. MIA is 5-0 SU (4-1 ATS) in this setup, & 8-2 SU/ATS in the series overall. That shouldn’t change here because MIA will be coming off 9 days to rest/prep, healthier (return of LB Walker & CB Fuller), & eager to erase the “soft” showing in wintery GB for the “D” (20 mistackles). They’ll be helped w/stud RB Hall doubtful & RT Vera-Tucker on the wrong side of questionable on “O”. NY is riding a 3-gm losing streak & have lost 8 of their last 10 gms on the back of one of Rodgers’ worst statistical seasons of his career. MIA’s front-7 should get pressure on him to continue his woes. Tua has thrown a lot of INTs vs NY despite his otherwise great #s vs this “D”, but that too should improve w/Sauce doubtful in the secondary.
