DEN saved my wk w/2 pick-6’s on Famous Jameis. But I have to rant a little here. That moron Vance Joseph had front row seats to his backup CB getting burned over & over again throughout 3 quarters by Jeudy, finally made Surtain shadow him (which he did shut him down on 1 drive), then proceeded back to zone where Jeudy burned them again. What’s the definition of insanity?? This is the ultimate case of talent overcoming poor coaching. If DEN faces a smart coaching staff in the POs, they should be able to take advantage of Joseph (who was MIA’s former DC when we had a bunch of talent but was one of the worst “D”s). ARI’s oline stunned me by playing a near perfect gm, allowing Murray to pick apart (by his standards) MIN’s porous secondary, to kill my POW. Cousins looked frantic in ATL & was severely underthrowing his receivers vs LAC. He may have an injury he’s not admitting to. Teaser hit w/out a sweat & luckily TB/CAR went into OT for that Over to hit.

Regular Season POW 6-7, Teasers 11-4, GOY 1-0, Overall 35-33-4

MIA -6
are still in the WC hunt amazingly & need to win to keep hopes alive. They get the reeling NYJ in the MIA heat, which normally bodes well for the hm team. MIA is 5-0 SU (4-1 ATS) in this setup, & 8-2 SU/ATS in the series overall. That shouldn’t change here because MIA will be coming off 9 days to rest/prep, healthier (return of LB Walker & CB Fuller), & eager to erase the “soft” showing in wintery GB for the “D” (20 mistackles). They’ll be helped w/stud RB Hall doubtful & RT Vera-Tucker on the wrong side of questionable on “O”. NY is riding a 3-gm losing streak & have lost 8 of their last 10 gms on the back of one of Rodgers’ worst statistical seasons of his career. MIA’s front-7 should get pressure on him to continue his woes. Tua has thrown a lot of INTs vs NY despite his otherwise great #s vs this “D”, but that too should improve w/Sauce doubtful in the secondary.

NYJ 17
MIA 30

Honorable Mentions:

1 Unit PIT -6 ½:
PIT has won 20 straight reg season hm gms vs CLE, dating back to ’03 when it was Tim Couch vs Tommy Maddox. CLE did win @ PIT in POs 4 yrs ago. PIT should keep the unbelievable win streak going because not only is this a revenge gm for the blizzard bowl loss on TNF @ CLE, but the PIT “D” will surely be fired up to improve upon the 38 pts they gave up @ CIN last wk. Plus LB Highsmith returns from a 3-gm absence to help Watt w/pressuring Winston. WR Tillman out again, so PIT will be able to focus on Jeudy who went nuclear vs the idiot Vance Joseph last wk.

1 Unit CAR +13 ½: Nice trap gm for PHI who are off a marquee win @ BAL, have North leading PIT next wk, is on an 8-gm win streak, & returning hm from a successful 3-gm rd run. They have to be patting each other on the back & feeling good @ hm vs a bad CAR team. PHI is 0-2 ATS when giving more than 7 this yr. FS Blankenship & his backup Brown are out, which will help the now functional Young & resurgent Thielen.

1 Unit CHI ML (+144): CHI off long wk & firing of Eberflus. OC Brown takes over & is credited w/simplifying “O” for Caleb to have his best #s after Shane Waldron was fired. Now they travel to SF where the Niners are reeling. Losing All-World RB CMC would be huge by itself, but they also sent backup RB Mason to IR, & will be w/out LT Williams, LG Banks, & Bosa.

1 Unit DAL +5 ½: McCarthy typically does well off long wks. “D” getting healthier & is the main reason why they’re on 2-gm winning streak. Rush beat CIN 2 yrs ago 20-17 in a similar setup (getting 7 @ hm), where Parsons sacked Burrow twice as part of 6 sacks by DAL. DAL could take this SU on primetime, against a bad CIN “D” who will now be w/out another dlineman in Rankins.

2 Unit Wormy Teaser

NOR +8
PIT +6 ½
BUF +9 ½
KC +9

Thanks Indy! Wow, CHI too huh? Seems like SF is crumbling, doesn't it? They're a well-coached team, so you never know. BOL to us.
Let’s go Wormy! Like MIA, CHI and PIT as well!
