Good question Picasso.

I'd just like to chime in that I like the model that WSC is taking with the 10% rebate. It offers incentive to play there (well, that and they do have competitive lins) without sending personal invites to every bonus whore and their mothers.

Not endorsing or critizing, but this model seems more responsible than the average books.

Any book that uses extension software can change the line on you. In there latest version you can change the delay once you hit the confirm button, it sends it to the line manager and then they can be honest or screw you if they like. Pinnacle does not have a delay or Casablanca. Ones that do have the delay you will know. I won't name the spot but sometimes it takes over a min to get a confirmation. They can do it on a player by player basis

Thanks for the input guys. Wil - my thinking has always been similar to what your input was.
When I called to place the bet yesterday I asked for the line on one game, as soon as they gave it to me I told them how much I wanted to bet on it. It took me one second to spit out how much I wanted on it. Then the clerk said the line had moved from 123 to 124. I think that is bs and they moved it because I was bettting a couple of dimes on the game. There line had been sitting there for atleast 30 minutes, and then as I take one second to bet it the line moves their way. I think it is bs and I was cheated. Just my two cents.

once a clerk reads you a line, it should stand, even if it moves a second later, my guess is that your acc has a big flag that the clerk probably missed

I asked to speak to the supervisor and the supervisor said that on their website it says they can do that. I said I opened the account on the phone and didn't read every little rule on the net, if it was important they should of told me on the phone. She said "it only moved a dollar." I told her that it just wasn't right, and I didn't like doing business with books that do this.
I honestly feel that if I had bet $100 the line wouldn't have moved. I think they moved the line off of my bet. I asked for a couple of dimes and the moved the line off of me.

Cman "it's only a dollar" YOU should have said "right if it's only a dollar how come your sweating it" a real book like Oly, Grande or Cris would have given you the bet once the clerk took your dollar amount you wanted to bet. This is some real Mickey Mouse shit.

Darryl - Yea they could be better.
Gambler - Yea, they only wanted to see it their way. Sorry azz crap in my book. They moved the line because of me and tell me it's "only a dollar" is a bit insulting. If a book doesn't understand what the word "principle" means then they need to figure it out.

not to mention apart from the fact that Customer Service came into the thread at 8.52 on the 31st, & they were posed a question or two in this thread... yet none of them have been back to respond to these concerns?
