what a fiasco for the books

what happens to the series bets and exact series results -- if the game is officially 2-1 phi, then are these bets graded as phi winner 4-1 -- even though tb could come back to win this gm, another gm and even the world series ?

if no, then can't a guy that bet phi to win the series 4games to1 have a claim ??

no, whoever really wins this game would count towards series bets.

Guys, this is the not the first time this rule has come into play this season. While MLB changed the rule about suspended games for betting purposes this game is official. I can't remember what game earlier this season but this same result happened earlier in the year where the visiting team either tied the game or took the lead in the top of the inning and then the game was suspended but the home team was leading at the end of the last inning.

The sportsbooks are going to have to change their rules because this is a horrible result.

Good thing I didn't try and hedge my Phillies Series bet; I feel sorry for anyone that got fucked trying to hedge.

I would expect most books (I am sure 5dimes will) will put up a line on the game tomorrow.

I imagine the books are pissed about this considering they were sitting on a bunch of Philly -180 tickets and had to pay them out even though TB pulled even.

5dimes just posted Philly @-550 to win the Series. No game line yet.
