8:00am Czech. Rep. -2.5, -101

Czech. Rep. in a close race with Holland in Group 1. They won 2-0 at Macedonia last. Nov., and now get them at home.

11:00am Slovakia -2.5, +100

More of a play against Luxembourg. Their last 4 qual. games have been 0-4, 0-5, 0-4, and 0-4 losses.

7:00pm Costa Rica -1.0, -104

Costa Rica played much better against the US. than the 0-3 score indicated. They've beaten Guat. 2 str., 4-0 on the road this Feb. in a regional tourney and 5-0 at home last Oct. in a WCQ. CR's next game is at Mexico, whom they already lost to at home 1-2. If they want to get Germany, they need a win here.

I have no clue about this whatsoever, but is there a reason that Ireland is a 1.75 goal favorite today @ the Faroe Islands? I mean, I know that Ireland's team isn't all world, and I think I remember hearing something about Keane or someone important getting a red card in their last match against Israel, but still... Ireland needs this win badly, being two points back of the Swiss and 1 back of Israel, whom they just drew at home... not to mention the French being with them at 10 points, surely to qualify... and can't afford to give it up to the lowly Faroe Islands, right? Ireland winning by 2 to win half and 3 to win the whole bit seems quite nice... figure the spread should be 2.5 at least, if not 2.75 or 3.

AFL- You've probably got the right side here. After blowing a 2-0 lead against Israel over the weekend, I think they'll be fully focused for this game. Striker Robbie Keane was injured in the game against Israel and is out today but midfielder Roy Keane returns to the starting lineup.

Nice start to the day as the Czechs. roll early 6-1. Now, hopefully, Luxembourg will lay down as usual.

Ireland beat Faroe Islands 2-0 at home last Oct. which is probably why they set the line close to -2.0. Switzerland beat them 6-0 at home and 3-1 on the road. Looks like a good pick.

International Friendly<o:p></o:p>

<st1:country-region><st1:place>Germany</st1:place></st1:country-region><st1:country-region><st1:place>Russia</st1:place></st1:country-region>

<o:p> </o:p>

Today there is an international friendly match between <st1:country-region><st1:place>Germany</st1:place></st1:country-region> and <st1:country-region><st1:place>Russia</st1:place></st1:country-region>. I found some very interesting bets on the special bet-specialist-bookie Fonbet. <o:p></o:p>

<o:p> </o:p>

1. HT Over 1.5 @ 2.25 Fonbet.com <o:p></o:p>

<st1:country-region><st1:place>Germany</st1:place></st1:country-region> Over 1.5 @ 1.70 Fonbet.com<o:p></o:p>

I expect an very offensive game of both teams – this is an friendly match and so both teams can play without any pressure. <st1:country-region><st1:place>Germany</st1:place></st1:country-region> is currently in a good form and made a good game against North of Ireland and won easily 4:1 – the key player Ballack is in nice form and so I am sure that we will se once again a very attractive and offensive game of the German team. <o:p></o:p>

<o:p> </o:p>

<st1:country-region><st1:place>Russia</st1:place></st1:country-region> to score @ 1.50 @ Fonbet.com <o:p></o:p>

<st1:country-region><st1:place>Germany</st1:place></st1:country-region> is currently in a nice form but the defense is not the best in the International comparison – they need still some time to improve their defense. And <st1:country-region><st1:place>Russia</st1:place></st1:country-region> will start with an offense manner and so I am sure that they will score at least on goal against <st1:country-region><st1:place>Germany</st1:place></st1:country-region>. <o:p></o:p>

I just got home from the gym to see the Slovakia score.:muscles::exercise: Luxembourg seems to have given up.

Looks like everyone has had a profitable day so far.:aktion033

Now if Costa Rica can cover the spread, it will be a truly great day!!
