6 groups of 4 ~ 24 teams and 36 Matches simply to eliminate 8 teams. Mismatches and disparity everywhere, only 3 Draws. And do not get me started on VAR. It is useful, simply use in a useful manner. Apologies but if someone is not facing the goal or horizontal to the goal and questionably gets "tripped" or 'kicked" or "cut off" why the hell should a penalty shot be called. And another thing, if you are going to call crap like that at least make the player who was "taken" down shoot the penalty kick.
