Been working from home now for about 13 years and it is still a challenge. Love the perks it has but man, I get distracted so easily. I think I am more efficient when I have an office to go into. Anyone else struggle with this?

How is working from home a Job. You get paid the same amount of money to sit on your ass and do anything you want. MY sisterinlaw makes a 100 thousand a year for being a hr for a nuclear plant. She goes to atlantic city and sits by the pool while on her lab top. If you work from home you should make Half your salary.

I worked from home for about 3 months in 1995. Too many distractions, and when my wife starting giving me chores to do during the day, I quickly realised working from home is not a thing for me

Although when I decide to slow down a tad, I'm going to try working from poolside :)

for extroverts its a killer . For introverts its a dream come true. My nephew is a computer whiz, degree in computer programming. Always been a quiet guy, doesnt say boo. Asked him is he likes working from home; 'i never want to go back ' lol

in general tho, not a good thing. Social isolation is not healthy . I thikn many companies are asking employees to come back a few days a week , no?

I did it for years, instead of working 8 hours I'd work 12 to 14.
Home work can be a scam if your employer knows you have a deadline and the amount of work is impossible to do within a 8 hr timeframe in office...I'd go to the office when I could . mostly only to delegate shit I couldn't get done within my deadline.
I didn't love working from home...employers can use it to an advantage if they are keen on your ability to solve problems in what they see as a timely manner.

The thing is, if you had to go back to the office full time, you would miss being at home.

My wife works from home. It makes my life easier and overall, our lives are better as she can take care of everything. She actually had to go into her office on Monday and it seems like our whole routine was thrown out of whack that day
