Overcast in Toronto, with some rain in the forecast which may soften up the turf course alittle. Some observations from the last 3 days, the track speed bias has evened out as some nice off the pace winners have scored recently and the turf course is producing some unbelievably high prices and with that lets see if we can score some of those today.

Race 1

H Que

This barn has been hot lately as anything coming out of the barn regardless of form has run well, this one has the rail and should sit off a contested pace with first run as they turn for home.

Race 3

Expresso Love

Part of an entry, and given his running style 7F should suit him well, I expect Peakaboo Peak and Pouring Rain will set some quick fractions setting this one up.

Race 4 (Izvestia Stakes)

Forever Grand

Looking for some value here (6-1) in this 6 horse field. When looking at this race I used the elimination process. #1 T J'S LUCKY MOON ran his race last year in the Queen's Plate at 82-1 and has not been right since, he'll try and lead them to the top of the stretch but that's it. #2 HOT TALENT a Stronach owned runner simply belongs on the turf where he as won a couple of stakes and I believe is a cut below on the dirt. ANGLIAN PRINCE the fav, was disqualified last out on the turf and needs a perfect race set up to score from well off the pace. WAKE AT NOON has never gone this far and although very talented this one belongs in 6 1/2 - 7F races. Captain George should be an also ran, that left me with FOREVER GRAND, this one has won Stakes races and Allowances with versatility, running on the front end or rating and coming off the pace, having that type of horse gives a jockey that much more of an opportunity. I think if neither of the others is to go when the gate opens then this one will take to the top but if TJ and WAKE go up top early this one will sit third and look to take control at the top of the stretch.

Race 6

Niigon

2 Year old out of Coatrieux barn, and he scored with a VERY nice 2 year old last week at a nice price, this one worked in company with that one and should run big as well.

Race 8 (Chinese Cultural Centre Stakes G2)

Stage Classic (15-1)

looking at taking a stand against the two favorites in this race. Perfect Soul and Strut the Stage look tough in this spot, Soul has campaigned south of the border against many of the top N.A. turf horses running extreely well and Strut is definitely in form. But I am will to take a price with Stage Classic who loves the Woodbine turf and although a cut below this one runs his race everytime and if anyone falters he will score at a very big price.

That's it for today, sorry for the ramblings and have a great day at whatever tracks your playing.

As Always Good Luck
