Off to Woodbine for some birthday drinks and hopefully some winning races, I picked up a horse on Wednesday nite in the 6th race (Canadian Edition) and he should be running in a couple of weeks. On to todays card.
Race 1
Massport
This two year old was overmatched last time out in a Maiden Special Race and drops to 32K in a spot I believe she fits nicely.
Race 2
Souvenier Biz
This one lost out to Button Wood last out but should run and win easy today.
Race 3
Goldie's Road
This one came out of our barn to run 3rd first time out and has trained forwardly, believe he will run well and hopefully get the big piece of the pie.
Race 5
Blue Red Bullet
Also out of the barn but a bigger price at 12-1, making his first lifetime start and has trained well in the mornings.
Race 7
Stigler's Sorrel
Had a horrendous trip last out coming from 13th to finish 3rd, has a better post today (5) and leading Jockey Kabel rerides, probably my best chance to get in the winners circle today.
Race 8
Passing Ships
Has been as consistant a runner as you can find, and should run well today and take avantage of the speed bias at Woodbine.
Race 9
Colonial Red
Another Turf starter for Sam Son Farms and this one looks to be sitting on a big effort today.
Race 10
Northern Executive
Just lost last time out to Stand Down in a Maiden Special Weight race and should be in a stalking position close to the speed up front.
