Once again, you literally have no idea what you're talking about, yet can not stop yourself from commenting.

I could post example after example of people finding out at the airport they are no the no-fly list, yet having no connection to terrorism, but what would be the point?

You will respond with a dumb bon-mot or by repeating the same dumb talking point.

This is another gun thread where you get smacked around.

Everybody knows there are mistakes on the no fly list.....guess that means they should just throw it away and allow anyone to fly huh?

fix the mistakes and stop these suspected terrorists from buying guns and killing people. I promise it won't stop you from shooting target practice at a gun range.

So you are good with locking people up without due process because your government says they are enemy combatants, but you're not good with people your government believes should be placed on a terrorist watch list not being able to purchase a gun because they don't get due process. Just trying to understand your logic here...

You clearly do not understand this at all.

An enemy combatant is picked up on the battlefield.

A "suspected terrorist" can be a US Citizen that has committed no crime.

That is the logic here. Why don't you understand these simple concepts?

1. Nra
2. Rednecks who fear losing their guns over keeping them from terrorists

You spelled the FBI Director wrong:

Well, senator, what we do now is if someone on the watch list purchases or attempts to purchase a firearm, an immediate alert is sent to the agents who are the source of the suspicion about that individual, so they can incorporate that information into their investigation,” Comey said.

“It's a little bit challenging for us because known or suspected means it hasn't been adjudicated in every case that somebody is a terrorist,” Comey said. “It's somebody we're investigating, so we don't want to, obviously, blow our investigation. Sorry.”

Why doesn't he agree with you? Why would anyone in their right mind substitute your judgement here?

Also:

[FONT=&quot]“The FBI is alerted when that is triggered, and then we do investigation, understand, are there disqualifiers that we’re aware of that could stop the transactions, and if the transaction goes through, the agents who are assigned to that case, to that subject are alerted to it so they can investigate,” Comey added.

No, but that means we should just say fuck it? Put something in place to make it a more accurate list, make it easier for those wrongly put on the list to get off it.

The idea that because the list has mistakes on it we should just forget it......is not smart.

That's exactly what I have said throughout this thread, but I realize you just got back and therefore it is likely that you haven't read any of my earlier posts.

This "response" is comical.

Nobody said anything about throwing any list away.

The number of examples of "suspected terrorists" on the no-fly list buying guns and killing people remains at zero.

"Fix the mistakes!!!"

:):)

You have a cartoonish view of the world. But of course you simply can not stop yourself from commenting, despite the laughable idiocy.

Wow, what a hot take there, genius. I mean, can you get any more in depth or factual?

:):)

The number of suspected terrorists on the no-fly list buying a gun and going out and committing a crime remains at zero. So why are you talking about this? Why use a "no fly list" for gun control purposes?

Oh, because the NRA is for something and you, unthinkingly, are against the NRA.

That's why.

Yeah, your " you clearly don't understand this" analysis is some quality stuff

and actually since 2004, about 2500 people have come up on match list with terror list and attempts to buy a gun....and 212 were denied. It's only that low because no law prohibits them from actually buying guns or explosives. You should check the government accountability office website and get familiar with accurate data.

Hey dipshit.....do you ever realize I respond how I'm spoken to?

why do you continually say things that are completely untrue? This happens a lot with you.

Try this....find one comment I made to Acebb before he started his usual bullshit. Be honest about it for once.

It's not completely untrue and everyone here knows it. Here I am on your side in this gun deal yet I can speak to ACEBB just fine about it. You constantly turn threads here to trash. It's the absolute truth.

Not going anywhere. It takes more than a few lying crybabies to make me go away.

Maybe you should not making idiotic comments. How's that sound?

economics and families have more to do with murders than gun laws, this chart helps prove that

wonder why there's a recent surge in murders? did we all of a sudden ease our gun laws?

or are we suffering through 8 years of economic malaise?

poverty breeds violent crimes, lack of stable family life does as well

neither a gun or a Confederate flag ever decided to kill somebody, but uneducated and angry people do

Agree, Murder rates are far more a cultural thing than a gun thing. And the argument is a strong one, especially since some of the highest rates come from places with stringent gun laws. Our murder rates really aren't bad, they are compared to some of Europe, but we are way below the average. And it's a cultural thing, we have a war on drugs, lots of black market and organized crime. NRA culture isn't going around playing cowboy killing everyone.

You clearly do not understand this at all.

A "suspected terrorist" can be a US Citizen that has committed no crime.

That is the logic here. Why don't you understand these simple concepts?

An enemy combatant can also be a US Citizen that has committed no crime. And who decides that a crime was committed? Enemy combatant was a work around used by the administration to detain "bad people". There really is no logical difference in not allowing due process in either case. You're the one with the double standard.

So are you saying non us citizens should be protected under the us constitution and us bill of rights?
