Kobe USED to be the best defensive SG around, but in the last few years he has gotten lit up and isn't the player he was on D. There are plenty of better players at the position, hell Ginobili gives his team better D in 20 minutes than Kobe does in 40. Kobe has no interest in playing defense anymore and his guy constantly is getting to the basket while Kobe hopes Shaq blocks the shot and he can release on a fast break opportunity. Just watch him play and think to yourself, if he didn't have Shaq out there, just how good would his teams do? Its not even close, this stuff about him being an MVP is ridiculous. He scores a lot because he shoots a lot. He is a top player, but he alone isn't the best or most dominant player in the league. He makes it even worse in that near the end of the game he rarely passes the ball even when faced with a tough spot and with 3 other big time players out there that won't go over well.
