Someone whose opinion I respect very much really likes Edmonton -6 in this spot. I don't follow the CFL but I decided to do some research on this game and now I see why he likes it so much. Edmonton has two games remaining and they're both against Winnipeg. They have them in Edmonton Friday night and at Winnipeg next week. Edmonton needs one victory to win the division, get a first round bye in the playoffs and get to host the division championship.

That's a lot to play for and they're in good form. Edmonton has won five in a row and comes off a nice one point road victory at Montreal. Edmonton had last week off to get a rest and get a few players healthy and they are ready for this match up. Winnipeg is sputtering a bit on offense and they may not have the services of starting QB Khari Jones. Jones is suffering from a high ankle sprain and was also seen yesterday for something the team would not disclose. Hmmm. Winnipeg also has some injuries at the skill positions as well as the QB question. If Jones can't go, it will be Pat Barnes.

Edmonton -6 to post a solid home victory.
