Raonic was tight in that breaker. He's going to have to take a page out of the book of Jo Willy and win 2 straight. Don't like my chances.

Murray has been neutralising Raonic's biggest weapon.

A big hold for Murray. He faces break points for the 1st time & bats them away with precision. He leads 6-4...7-6...3-2*

At +161 still IMO a good play, Small as we made it. Win or Lose, as I said, Its All Good. Murray a Beast today, some magnificent returns. superior luck on balls hitting the top of the net & dribblin' over. Murray with this level of Hunger, Sharpness unstoppable today, playing at a whole other Level than the kid.

If you had told me Raonic would lose serve ONCE I would have thought we'd be in great shape. Oh well

Does it all end here? We're into a third-set tie-break. Murray leads Raonic 6-4, 7-6, 6-6

certainly congrats are in order for Mr Murray. And the match goes under

felt at least one set would go to a 7-6. In fact 2 did. Raonic wins a greater % of tiebreaks than does Murray. AND h2h in tiebeaks going into this match was 3-1 VS Murray . Despite all this, Murray wins both tiebreaks today. In hindsight, guess the one factor that was overwhelmingly critical would be experience; Murray has been here before, Milos hasnt.

Murray well done :)

gentlemen, next stop is Flushing Meadows.......

With Murray having brought the level of play that he did....Painfully Close, Yes....on that Over 39....Milos stood Tall at times, Andy straight out TOOK those Tiebreaks though...

....Oh just for a Single Set Win for ya'll. So So close. :(
