</TD></TR><TR><TD vAlign=top colSpan=3>The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that Rashard Mendenhall is expected to be the Steelers' starting tailback Sunday versus Cleveland. Mendenhall (flu) is no longer on the Week 6 injury report.
Another local paper speculated that he could miss the game due to the flu, but Mendenhall practiced Friday and is slated to start despite Willie Parker's (turf toe) likely return. How much Parker plays will "depend on the flow of the game." In other words, he may not see many snaps unless the Steelers jump out to a big early lead. Use Mendenhall with confidence.

</TD></TR><TR><TD vAlign=top colSpan=3>Steelers coach Mike Tomlin confirmed Tuesday that Rashard Mendenhall has officially passed Willie Parker on the depth chart at tailback.
Rotoworld has operated under the assumption that it was Mendenhall's job to lose, but it's nice to have official word from the top. "It's great to have Willie back," Tomlin said, "but Rashard has the hot hand." Mendenhall will continue to handle early-down duties, with Parker in the change-of-pace role and Mewelde Moore as the two-minute back. Mendenhall (bruised knee) may be limited in practice this week, but he's fully expected to start against the Vikings.

"[Coach Mike Tomlin] thinks that's the best for our offense right now and pretty much I have to prove him wrong. I'm cool with it," Parker said. Don't expect Parker to get the job back anytime soon.
