This Missouri team has really been underachieving so far this year even though they are 2--0. They are one of the most talented and deep teams in the country if not the best. They have clearly been distracted (as well as Quin's staff) by the NCAA investigation into Academic fraud, cash payouts, and giveaway items stemming from Ricky Clemens. This team had been sleepwalking not from being overconfident or lackadaisical but from the unknown of their fate from NCAA. This team is a legitimate final four contender. It has been 25 years since Missouri at the start of the year had a realistic chance of winning it all and that was back in 1982 with Stipanovich, Sundvold, Frazier, and co. A big announcement on Thurs from a meeting with Missouri and the Ncaa was that they were dropping the academic fraud charges for a lack of any evidence. This was the biggest charge! Throw in that Randy Pulley and Jason Conley have been cleared for eligibility for 2nd semester bring the first two positives since last March to this program. At Bloomington today, Missouri will show why they could be the best team at the end of the year and will blow out Hoosiers.
