This bet was discussed a few days ago when the RX mush Mr. Newleywed posted it as his Olympic play of the day. This opened Yes -110 No -120. Why a line move the other way so hard?

Then It Went To -140.........
Now Seeing +200.................



It's Crazy What This Line Has Done Over The Last 3 Days Since It Opened! I Know It's THE OLYMPICS & Not Your Ordinary Sporting Event, But COME ON!

What has happened to move this line from -110 to +200? Im terribly confused, is it due to the strong beleif that USAIN bolt will not acctually go for the record but just for the gold?

Somebody just hammerred the NO HE WILL NOT WIN THE RECORD at pinny for the MAX, to move the line back up to +194 from +175.


All of a sudden, I have little confidence in this wager.....

I think people overreacted to his 100 meter performance, and now they see nobody running under 20 in the quailifiers and are a little concerned.

Record is 19.3x i believe.

If you think Bolt will dominate you better not bet on yes. The only way the record is broken is if someone pushes him for the full 20 meters.

this is obviously what is causing the perception that the record wont be broken.....

I guess we can only hope that he will not DO what he is saying and that he will go all out despite anyone else pressing.

I would get the weather report before I tried wagering on it..Headwinds, rain etc. When the headwinds or tailwinds get to a certain point doesn't it negate the record?

"Im here to win" he said that after the 100m saying he didnt care about the WR because it was already HIS, hopefully since he doesnt own the 200m WR that statement will change

If their is too much of a widn at their back the record wont count, and if they are running into the wind there is just no way it gets broken.

There are no 400 meter indoor tracks, and running on a 200 meter track would be totally different.

I'm not positive how the wager would be graded if the record was nullified by wind. My guess would be a loss.

He was referring to the 200 and about the fact that he let up in the semifinals, he said in Final he would run his heart out
