there is a prop bet out at olympic but it's
worded that he must be drafted in the general
draft not the supplemental... no is -300 and
yes is +250. surely an adult should be allowed
to enter his chosen profession without being
forced to wait til his class graduates. one of
the lower rung teams including the raiders and
al davis should be interested in furthering
clarett's appeal so a flyer on the ''yes'' otion
may be worthwhile.

I think Clarett will either transfer or play for OSU next year. Taking him anywhere in the top two or three rounds in the NFL draft would be a huge risk. He was injury-prone in his freshman year in college and there are enough good running backs coming out that teams would be nuts to grab him that high. Unless he flunks out of OSU--would they allow that to happen??--my money is that he is back at OSU next year.

Judge: Clarett can enter NFL draft

NEW YORK — Ohio State running back Maurice Clarett was ruled eligible for the NFL draft Thursday by a federal judge who concluded that the league's rule violates antitrust laws. U.S. District Judge Shira Scheindlin ordered the NFL to let Clarett enter April's draft, a decision that could clear the way for others. The league will appeal.

I have a feeling after all the court battles and gambling association charges are done Maurice will allowed to play and he will have a career somewhere between Kjana Carter and Brian '6 career tackles' Bosworth! Just a feeling.
