Hello Chad, thanks for writing, just FYI I received this email from our Tech Support chief last night. Monday, December 1, 2008 10:22 PM

Providing Net Nation completes a network cross-connect to the new database server, I will be shutting down the forums at 8:00 PM PST on Tuesday December 2 for approximately 15 minutes. If the connection is not done in time then the fall back day will be Wednesday the 3rd around 7:30 PM PST. During this time there will be no changes to the active database; however the forums may be slow to respond for several hours. We are just making a copy of the live data to test the migration to the new server and to see how long the actual move will take.

The have a few 1000 site viewers. All trying to get on at the same time on sundays and saturdays. Server can not handle all that traffic , they probably don't have the bandwith. It should be an easy fix. Switch to another server or provider who can meet your needs.

The Tech situation has been a bear to get straightened out but I swear we are on the brink of a solution. Trust me, no one here at The Rx.com is happy with these slowdowns and blackouts, especially management. A lot of money has been expended on the problem and like I said a solution is very close.

I just need you guys to hang in a little longer and we should be back to normal..
