Last year, the Rx announced a date for the Bash. My brother (not Dsethi) and I purchased plane tickets. The Rx then changed the main Bash date and offered to refund anyone who had already purchased tickets. We accepted the offer.

I guess we're not all high rollers like you who can afford to throw away hundreds of dollars for no reason. Congratulations on your financial status.
