If they outplayed them by a huge margin, then what happened? Bad puck luck? Bad officiating?

None of the above, just taking the bad shots and not getting the good puck rebounds. All on them that they lost, played hard, but didn't play right when it came to scoring.

NHL is easily the sport most similar to NFL/football in which it's a game of inches, where one team can dominate the game, only to lose on one single play.

The only game i think Tampa probably shouldn't have won was game #2, yet they did with some very fortunate bounces of the puck.

The other 3 games Tampa has dominated play.

Yet here we are 2-2.

Fun to watch no doubt about it...

Among the best posts I've ever seen on a forum.

Hawks are like the Movie Monster that just won't die.

In fakeass implausible Cinema the Monster always dies...eventually, the Monster never ever wins.

Your post begs for a Series Win play on Hawks right now.

I'm seeing Hawks -125 on that lol. Despite it now being a 2 of 3 and Tampa Bay having HomeIce advantage.

Would appear the overall feeling is that the Monster is not gonna die this time. Surprising needless to say that betting sentiment (at least at this point) appears to be on the side of the Hawks to take this series.

Outplaying your opponent isn't good for much if you "don't play right when it comes to scoring".

I just think it's an interesting discussion. Obviously I'm not blind and I saw that certainly the Hawks didn't play better than their opponent last night. I don't think TB outplayed them by "a wide margin", but that's maybe splitting hairs.

It comes down to experience, and Hawks have a lot of it. Not making the mistakes when it counts, and making the big plays when it does is a huge factor in the Stanley Cup playoffs.
