That is incorrect. You are still required to pay tax on Bitcoin winnings in gaming and even on the capital gains if your Bitcoin increases in value. Consult your tax adviser.

Of course you are, but anybody that would do that is already paying taxes on their gambling winnings so there is no difference.

Bitcoin is just like regular deposit/withdrawal methods. You are SUPPOSED to pay claim your winnings, but you aren't forced to...

Thanks for info Barnstorm, with Coinbase and a checking account, what are the fees for buying and selling bitcoins?
Looks to me like 1% to buy bitcoins, but what percentage to sell them and get funds back into your checking account ultimately?
thanks in advance.
:think2:

And it's easy to buy Bitcoin at Coinbase.

They are very reliable and you just have to set up an ACH from your checking account.

I think it is also 1% when you sell.

Circle is free both ways, but they set about a 1% higher price than Coinbase, so they are both pretty close. But you get that 1% higher price back when you sell on Circle. So check for sure if Coinbase charges to sell.

So are we to believe that if you buy in at $10000 and over the course of the football season the valuation of BitCoin is +30% that they are going to pay at that rate when you make a withdraw?

I'm sure if the valuation is down 30% you will get paid at the "current rate." There is only upside for the book encouraging you to use BC.

Like every asset class, Bitcoin can go up or down in price. There are no guarantees from anyone that your investment will give you “high and consistent returns”.“As soon as new investors fail to materialise, the operation runs out of money and fails.”

Whats the easiest/fastest way to fund an online book using btc or eth? I have never purchased either but see both coins as deposit/withdrawal options w/o fees on all the offshore books. TIA

[FONT=&quot]You really need to do some “serious” independent research...... First things first, there is no way on this planet, Bitcoin will ever see 740. I think you were just upset and made a silly statement. To all the people who don’t know how to use Bitcoin, this is coming from someone who has been using Bitcoin, what seems like forever. I honestly don’t know how & why people aren’t using it to fund a sports wagering account. I think a lot of people are just intimidated by it, when all you need to have, in order to use Bitcoin is “approximately” a 1/2 hr, to LEARN IT THROUGH AND THROUGH. Once you understand how it works, I’d be overly shocked if you don’t fall in love with it. COINBASE, is by far the easiest platform to use, thus the reason as to why it’s so commonly mentioned when the topic of Bitcoin comes up.

Take a peek at Coinbase’s platform, & do a tiny bit of research.

Simply Google search;

- Coinbase
- Reviews of all Bitcoin Platforms
- Top 5 Bitcoin companies you would WANT to do business with

*** I THINK THAT IS A VERY GOOD START, IN GETTING TO KNOW MORE ABOUT IT.***

I used to buy from coinbase, then send to my electrum wallet, then send to Nitrogen. The reason I did this, is because I had heard that coinbase will ban you if they see that you are sending to sportsbooks. I stopped all of this and havent been playing for a while both because I was kinda losing and also because sending bitcoin started becoming more difficult this past year, especially thru the wallet. Transactions started taking way too long to complete or even complete at all. I know you need to add the tip or whatever they call it and I was raising the amount and it was still a nightmare. I guess im wondering, How does everybody buy and then send their bitcoin to a sportsbook? When you fund your accounts, is it simple and what are your methods?

You can get many strategies online for earning money but cryptocurrency is the easiest way to do it. As I have been trading bitcoins for the past two years, I would suggest that one should invest in cryptocurrency but be alert of the frauds, just be aware before investing your money anywhere. There are many online platforms that can guide you on how and where to invest your money to make a profit.

Try Binary Options trading

ok well here's the deal, bitcoin is a scam! a real scam! don't use bitcoin!

No Sir you are wrong i would suggest you to try Binary Options trading . Binary options are one of the several types of online stock trading.Trading binary options is always clear and fast. Everything is about commodities prices or currency pairs and their decrease/increase. In the last few years, this type of trading has become very popular, offering investors with a low* budget a way of trading on the financial market.

Everfresh you really are a lying piece.

The poster "Cowboys99" is a BANNED ghost that YOU CREATED about 3.5 years ago. That was back when you and your ghosts were boring us with your "Bitcoin is a scam" warning. We all ignored you and we made some serious Bitcoin cash. Now you are trying argue with your banned ghost in hopes that someone will take you seriously.

FYI..
Most of contest players use Bitcoin. Hell, a lot of the prize money in the contests that are run at the RX are funded with Bitcoin. Most of the posters here are VERY knowledgeable when it comes to Bitcoin. Of course you would have no clue about that.

Since you don't have a clue about Bitcoin and continue to post the obvious, I see you are using your backup plan again..
PLAGIARISM

Does this link look familiar? This is where you copied the bulk of that plagiarism post of yours.

Of course you have been guilty of plagiarism for YEARS.

There are other examples of everfresh plagiarism that are more entertaining. These can be supplied upon request.

I left a couple typos for you to find. Or maybe you can start name calling again.

Nitro and Cloudbet both use Pinnacle

Fairlay Exchange is a nice betting exchange and has really good odds - the best by far - better than even 5Dimes' Reduced Juice odds. http://www.fairlay.com/?signup=2095
It's an exchange, so the layout is different, but you'll get the hang of it. It defaults to Decimal Odds, but you can change to American odds if you like. You will save a significant amount of money over the course of your wagering due to the much better odds.

Nitrogen Sports is also a good, reliable Bitcoin Sportsbook. https://nitrogensports.eu/r/19312
They have very good odds (not quite as good as Fairlay), a nice site and very good customer support. Very reliable. They've been around longer than most.

CloudBet https://www.cloudbet.com/en/?af_token=72d1c69241eb3b054a0106205b5194d4
They do not have the best odds and withdrawals take a bit longer, but they have a very nice looking and fast site and their Live Betting is very good and has better odds. So if you bet sports at CloudBet, you will get better odds by waiting to bet after the game has started!

If you are totally unfamiliar with BitCoin, here is a short video.
