Why The "Workarounds" Won''t Work

The recent law, preventing banks,
credit card companies,
debit card companies,

like Netteller(who already announced they will comply with US LAW)
Moneybookers etc

from paying or receiving "Offshore Sportsbooks"

will put "Street Bookies" back in business, in the U.S.,
similar to the Ban on Alcohol in the 1930's put "speakeasys" in business.

During the 270 day period after signing of the law

"Codes" are being established to identify, all the current and future Send/Receive names the books are giving out to their customers.

The U. S. goverment has "customers" at every book to simutaneously be updated on these "Workarounds send/receive names

The only true alternatives that will work is

1.MOVE TO NEVADA, AND DEAL IN CASH LEGALLY,

2.OPEN A BANK ACCOUNT IN London, Sweeden Denmark, Austrialia
Amsterdam etc.

Otherwise YOU CAN BET you will have a problem geting your money.

The whole reason for this law, and the prior law

(Professional & Amature Sports Protection act)

Which prevents any other State in the U.S. from having a Sportsbook
in their Casino's, (Like When New Jersey Was considering it)

IS TO PROTECT THE INTEREST'S IN NEVADA PERIOD.

JUST FOLLOW THE MONEY TRAIL AND ASK YOURSELF 'WHO DOES THIS HELP.

Moneyu has a way of getting to where it wants to go. And its not even going to be that hard to do so.

There are currently many ways to fund offshore accounts that dont involve any transaction with US banks.

People wont be able to set up Canadian bank accounts over the phone to move the money in 15 minutes?

Gamblers cant go to the local post office and get a money order made to be mailed to their book offshore?

New foreign issue debit cards (gambling and non gambling issued) can be loaded at wallmart and it shows up in my favorite book 30 seconds later. Withdrawing is even easier, go to any atm and withdraw.

Until some DRAMATIC new enforement techniques are introduced, the status quo qill remain. Offshore gambling is here to stay, and grow.

I've been thinking about this... and yes the feds will have 'planted' customers at the books in order to find out the methods the books are using to send money back to the USA.

the banks are not going to play this game very long, the feds will have lists and lists of bank acct #'s to add, as fast as a bank acct is coded the books will open up 10 more to replace the one blocked.

the banks will cry that it has become too expensive and labor intensive to enforce the coding of bank accounts and then the goodlattes of the world can dream up another law.

of course neteller can't play the 'open more bank accounts' game, so as they have said they will be closed for USA customers... I'm thinking some shady characters will surface that will be the underground neteller.

soon people won't worry about whether or not they can trust the book, it'll be can u trust the money processor.

Usam,
Cards such as those issues by "cardoneplus.com" based in toronto canada are being used by the likes of betcris and betjam (soon). You can fund them at any western union branch and im sure you can do it at wallmart too, just like you can use walmart to for "directcash" to be wired to offshore books.

Sorry but you guys haven't a clue how our law enforcement works and you have become completely detached from reality. Further you FAR overestimate how much the Feds really want to enforce this. If we were to believe your theories every police department would have a cop with a radar gun on every street in a city and give out tickets for going a mile over the speed limit. Fortunately we don't have that and neither will we have this big brother world you envision.
