Anything done to the detriment or harm of children is among the gravest crimes imaginable. The argument, for those guilty of this, is they are sick. You know the old saying, better 100 guilty go free than 1 innocent man be imprisoned. My personal belief, is that sexual crimes against children are so damaging, repeat offenders, those who cannot control themselves need to be controlled by society. chemically, or by jail/hospitalization.
I'm in my mid 70's, and a retired MD. I did my training a LA county general, the largest teaching hospital in the world. I can still remember seeing children in the ER. Mentally and physically scarred. With respect, I did not watch the the program. The last thing I need is anything that might remind me of those injured children.
If you are unsure, that pedophilia is a crime, or 'evil,' by definition.....you need help.
