I sent Microsoft a thing saying I thought this site was safe...It said they would look into it but who knows if they will or not....I can get in but I have to go thru a couple more steps everytime I change a page....Address bar turns pink & says warning not recomended to go to this site but I can get past that but its a pain to have to do a couple xtra steps every page...

Okay, this is what I saw happen to my computer.

I noticed the sound from my TV tuner card would go mute. I turned it back on, but it happened again and again.

So I open up the task manager, and saw that Mircosoft Internet Explore was running in the background. This is odd, because I use firefox as my browser. I kill iexplore.exe in task manager. But it comes back by itself.

Obviously at this point I realized I picked up some sort of virus or mal-ware from somewhere. What I did next was re-boot the computer, and that solved the problem.

The next day the problem did not appear. Then I visit the Rx and guess what, the same problem appeared. The sound goes mute by itself, and iexplore.exe is running by itself in the background. Therefore, it was clear that whatever infected my machine, I got it from the Rx servers.

I did a scan, but it did not find anything in my files, so I suspected this mal-ware was in memory, (as the free versions of the scanning software don't scan memory.)

Yesterday, was the third day after the initial appearance of the problem. I did not want to visit the Rx as I did not want to unclick the mute button again and again, but finally I visit the Rx and guess what, nothing happened, everything stayed normal.

Whatever was coming out from the Rx servers trying their probes into my machines Tuesday and Wednesday, has been cleaned up and has stopped.

I don't think the Rx management would want to talk about this too much.

Lesson here is that mal-ware is everywhere, seems more tougher than the so-called traditional viruses.
