No one will show you stuff I show you. My books are definatly proof of that, and here is one reason why:

There are millions upon millions of gamblers in the world. That is a good thing for one entity, sports books. We have all seen the buildings that are built to host gamblers and the money spent doing it. There is only one way they can continue to do that. Losing gamblers, and their are plenty of them.

Gamblers by and large are undisciplined, expect to lose, and consider their losses recreational. That at least is how they justify it. There are a myriad of reasons why they lose, and I have addressed many of them in previous writings.

Today I am going to address the psychology of a gambler, and why that impedes his success. There are lots of reasons why a gambler loses, beyond the psychological mindset that most carry, and the odds makers are well aware of your tendencies.

Let's examine the psychological blueprint of a gambler. They prefer overs to under, and favorites to dogs. They love betting on elite teams, because psychologically it feels good to have your money on a winner. They justify losses on these elite teams, simply by excusing something that happened during the game, that made the other, less talented team cover the number.

Gamblers hate getting burned by lousy teams when they bet on them, some vowing to never play team X ever again. The same time, when they get burned by an elite team, they have no problem coming right back with them.

Then the ultimate bad team, is the bad team that simply doesn't cover anything. Once burned by this type of team, the never bet on them again philosophy reaches new heights. The odds makers are aware of this psychological phenomenon, and hence the dead inept team, is suddenly being given line subsidies.

If you think this is me just talking out of my hat, then let's take a look at all 4 major point spread sports, NBA,NCAAB,NFL, and NCAAF.

The following table lists playing on any team that has an ATS winning percentage of .250 or less:

NBA: 725-665-26 ATS .522
NCAAB: 3472-3423-157 .504
NCAAF: 3768-3627-139 .510
NFL: 912-815-44 .528
-------------------------------------------------------
ALL: 8877-8530-366 .510

That is almost 17,000+ games, and in all sports it shows 1% above the expectation of 50.0. If you only considered just these games, and no other ones, you have gained 1% on your winning possibility.

There is more to it than that. Game 1 is where a ton of the action is, and both teams are at 0%, so it automatically records a win and a loss for each game 1 participant. If there is any meaning behind this, it will show up after 25% of the schedule has been played when a team below .250 is real.

Now let's see what happens when the games are 25% into the schedule, and the bad teams have truly identified themselves as bad teams. That means NBA from game 21 on, NCAAB from game 9 on, NCAAF from game 4 on, and NFL from game 5 on.

Here is the same table based on 25% completion of schedule:

NBA 24-12-1 .667
NCAAB 1781-1629-71 .522
NCAAF 2337-2222-94 .513
NFL 529-439-28 .546

---------------------------------------------------------
ALL 4671-4302-194 .521

We see that in all 4 cases as teams create an identity of becoming worse, the rate of winning increases, slightly in college, significantly in pros. The fact is playing any pro team NFL or NBA from the 25% mark of the season or greater yields:

553-451-29 or 55.1% winners on the blind on over 1000 games. There is no system in the universe that is going to be derived from a single variable, that produces over 1000 games with this kind of winning percentage, period.

There are certainly added strategic, and well founded variables that can increase this.

CONCLUSION:

You have to break away from old habits to have a chance at winning. This alone does not solve your problems, if your discipline is bad, your money management is bad, your playing parlays, or teasers, or betting games randomly, and a host of other bad habits commonly held by gamblers.

Stop getting cheated from "marketeers" with phony records, and learn about the truth of the matter.

Hopefully this turns the light on for you reading this. You have to understand where the REAL money is, and
have massive discipline, or YOU LOSE PERIOD!
