I'd hesitate to put Tomlin and thinking in the same sentence.

yep, no idea why nfl coaches cannot figure this out ... I assumed after the playoffs last year they'd wise up

tomlin pulled this same sh*t against Jax leading by 1. after the big 4th down run by garrard Jax had it 1st down on Pit 11 with 1:34 left and Pit with 3 timeouts. The chances that Scobee misses a FG less than 30 yd must be something like 5% yet he allows Jax to run the ball 3x and kick the FG and burns all 3 Steeler TO's in the process. Pit finally gets the ball back with :29 and no timeouts left on their own 28. one play later the game ended

If he allows them to score and even if they make the 2 point conversion it's a 7point game and Pit has 3 TO's and 1:30 to go 75-80 yards when Jax hadn't stopped them all quarter.
