Was he good in high school in some country that sucks in basketball?

He's as much a star as I am a retired poker millionaire

I'd call him a bust. Nets's bust, 76er's bust, playoff bust, early exit NIT bust Ben Simmons wants more money to do nothing

The bust couldn't even carry his team into the dance for Heaven's sake

Maybe he should go into politics

Not a bust as he made all defensive teams.

but certainly has not lived up to his number 1 overall draft pick “the next one” status

You guys are crazy.

First I had to defend Irving and now Ben Simmons.

Obviously not a fan of either.. but come with this stuff.

In mainstream basketball talk there's a big difference between "star" and "superstar"

Ben definitely fits the "star" mold....when he plays.

3 all-star appearances in a young career, great playmaker, one of the best defenders in the league

He has made just 2 less all-star games at age 25 then top 75 all time player Reggie Miller.

Kinda funny.

Good god, stop with the nonsense. The C's put him in the coo coo house, he hasn't emerged since

And he is a great defensive player, nobody scores on him. He's as good as the fucking dance squad. Dresses the part too

And I would not blame him for his lack of success in college .
That LSU team was a joke

Flat earth is a special kind of stupid
No question Irving has had "special" throw-in around to numerous aspects of his life.

What did Simmons have to do with it?

KD got swept cuz KD and Kyrie sucked

Worst series of KD’s career all things considered

Seriously? Simmons was scared, that was his chicken shit roll
