RPM...from being a steeler fan for 20 years+ I have seen them come out of the gate looking like they just got up..they go into a game like this ..favs and think they will show up and the ravens will lay down...the fan part of me wants the steelers to crush balt...I just do not see it...The steeler D was not that good in the preseason...the last game ,even thou they lost they still had a great D with there first teamers

There offense is clicking so there is a chance they cover the spread I see a 3 point win if pitt does pull it out

RPM - I think Baltimore can hang around because Ray Lewis is back at full strength for Balt and Porter being out for Pitt makes a big difference. Pitt has the better offense but Balt has the better Defense and with the way things have been going the past couple of years, a good defense has been beating a good offense.

Last year Pitt's D was pretty bad so I expect Baltimore to get their 1 TD and 3 FG's.

I see it:

Pitt 17
Balt 16

Remember that Kyle Boller is starting. I don't like betting on a rookie QB starting his first game. If you want to bet on that fine.

I'll take the logical pick and pound on those gay ass Bangels. Made me a couple grand doing it last year.

I don't feel that strong about Baltimore, with a rookie starting the regular season, regardless of what he did in the preseason. I'd say Tommy Maddox, Plaxico Burress, Hines Ward, and Amos Zereoue at home are at least a touchdown better than Kyle Boller, Travis Taylor, Frank Sanders, and Jamal Lewis any day.

pittsburgh has been notorious at failing to cover the opening day spread for decades.

0-3 last 3 years
2-8 last 10 years
3-12 last 15 years

and 4-11 ats at home since 1977

they're the anti-cover boys.

Good call THEGAME.

Pittsburgh always starts slow and then everything comes together later on. Why should it be any different with Cowher, Porter & Zereuo being factors.

NEW SEC RULE: Oorang will not be participating in either side of this event and has not spoken directly to any coach.
